This place has pour your own beer taps, which I would definitely recommend! Even though I didn’t do it, my friends did! They got their own little card to swipe to get beer! It's cheap to do and great for sampling a wide range of beers. When we did go to the bar, our bar tender was easy to chat with and she was fast with service. Clean place and wide range of drinks!!! I loved their margs!!!! I got lucky on parking lol it was literally in front of the business and I didn’t have to pay WOHOO!!
We had a great reserved table for the AFC Chiefs playoff game for 3 people in our group! Food was amazing (loaded tots, fried pickles, ruben, pulled pork grilled cheese, sweet potato fries, cheeseburger & fries) and drinks delicious (multiple bloody mary’s, multiple tap beers & my mom got a tequila cocktail that had an orange rind and cherry on top). We can’t wait to make it back.
This place rocks! I had a burger, brussel sprouts, corn nuggets, fried green beans and 2 amazing local brews. The corn nugs and beans came with their own unique dipping sauce. Excellent service and the price is almost too good to be true. Wish we had one of these back home. Cheers
Had to kill a couple hours while my kid was a few blocks away at a show. Place was pretty slow due to weather. Staff was really nice. Wife and I just sat around sipping on our beer. My wife really likes being able to try different beers so the self served taps are great for her. I was happy to see a couple of local brews on the wall. I was able to try a couple of samples from Vine street. This was our second time going and I'm sure we will end up back there again sometime.
I loved the little outdoor patio space! The food & service was great too. Food came out fast. Served was very attentive & helped with recommendations. Food tasted great too! Definitely recommend the beer cheese with tots!
Taps on Main is a go-to spot for my husband and I in Kansas City! It’s a fun little bar and grill and they have a nice beer selection that you can pour yourself! It brings me an absurd amount of joy that they have a bunch of little taster glasses so I can try multiple beers in one sitting without being hammered. Lol. Such a fun experience for beer lovers!
Server did a great job..she was interactive with our group of 15. Food was good. Mixed Drinks were good..somewhat pricey. It was slow last night but it was early when there 3pm - 6pm. Wish them all luck, great job!!!
Great place to grab a beer, especially if you like to pick from specialty ones on tap. Simply go up to the bartender give them your debit card. They give you a white card that you can go up to any tap and swipe and pour as much beer as you want, and that card stays with you until the end And then you will go up to the Bar Tender and tab out and they will use your debit card to tap out when you are done!
